Board President – Kavy Lenon

Kavy Lenon serves as the Supplier Inclusion Manager for Meijer. For the past decade, Kavy has been a contributor in promoting growth of diverse owned businesses through various opportunities by coaching, educating, advocating, and community outreach.

Kavy gravitates to challenges and is motivated to solve complex business problems.  She successfully connects new business opportunities by utilizing the corporate value of inclusiveness and diversity  as a differentiator.  Kavy diligently works to create innovative ways to help raise internal and external awareness and connect diverse owned businesses with buyers, corporate partners, and business partners.

Kavy current serves as the Chair of TekWissen Foundation, Vice President for the Veteran Owned Business Roundtable, and Co-Chair Grand Rapids Asian Pacific Foundation. She’s has been honored by numerous organizations like DiversityPlus Magazine, MMSDC,  APACC, Top Women in Grocery Rising Star Award and most recently 2023 Leadership in the Workplace Corp!Magazine.

Board VP – Bill Calhoun

Professional history  

With a diverse career trajectory spanning from architecture and construction to my current role as Managing Director of a leading workforce solutions and recruiting company, I bring a wealth of experience and passion to the table. As the proud owner of an NGLCC-certified Talent Solutions firm, I am deeply committed to driving initiatives that champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I). Serving as the Chair of the Community subcommittee for TekWissen Foundation, I lead collaborative efforts to forge partnerships with like-minded organizations, amplifying our collective impact and advancing our shared missions.  

  

A few personal facts / hobbies / passions  

Beyond the boardroom, my zest for exploration and cultural immersion fuels my personal pursuits. A Detroit native, I am deeply rooted in the values of community and inclusivity. Whether traveling the globe to absorb diverse cultures and architectural wonders or exploring the depths of the ocean through scuba diving, I am constantly inspired by the beauty and diversity of our world. These experiences serve as a reminder of the importance of embracing diversity in all its forms and fostering a more inclusive society.  

  

Reason for supporting TWF   

Committed to paying forward the opportunities afforded to me, I actively engage in mentorship and support programs for diverse-owned businesses. In addition to my involvement with The Detroit Regional LGBT Chamber of Commerce and conducting site visits for NGLCC certification, I play a key role in guiding diverse suppliers through certification processes. Through these endeavors, I strive to level the playing field and empower individuals and businesses from underrepresented communities to thrive. As I continue to navigate my professional journey, I remain steadfast in my dedication to driving positive change and building a more equitable future for all.

Board Secretary – Kristy Sidlar 

Kristy Sidlar is a Workforce Solutions Consultant at Magnit Global. 

As a 30+ year staffing / recruiting industry veteran, Kristy provides global workforce solutions to top tier organizations.  She is a passionate supporter of upskilling underserved worker populations, helping new businesses receive often-unavailable mentorship, and ensuring communities are engaged, and so the Tekwissen Foundation was a perfect fit for Kristy.  She leads the UpTEK subcommittee – providing technology training and certifications to deserving applicants. 

 

Kristy is a heart health advocate, serving multiple roles for the American Heart Association.  She is an author – Change of Heart: My Journey of Transplantation, Revelation, and Transformation.  She is married, loves to travel, is a fitness buff, enjoys being in her kitchen, and will never turn down the opportunity to drive a cool, fast car!

Board Treasurer – Vince Jesudowich 

Financial Expertise Meets Community Spirit  

Vincent K. Jesudowich, CPA, brings a powerful blend of financial acumen and community dedication to the TekWissen Foundation. As Treasurer, he ensures the foundation's financial health with a deep commitment to transparency and maximizing impact.

Over 30 Years of Financial Leadership  

Vince leverages his extensive experience (over 30 years) in accounting and taxation to benefit the foundation. He is the owner of Vincent Jesudowich, CPA, PLLC, offering comprehensive financial consulting services. Since 2012, he has served as a trusted financial and tax advisor to TekWissen, LLC, guiding their growth from a startup to a global human capital leader. Vince's experience extends beyond entrepreneurship, as he also works as a tax analyst for a global manufacturing company, specializing in strategic tax planning and optimizing tax credits/incentives.

Dedication to Integrity and Empowering Others  

Vince's career is marked by unwavering integrity and a passion for providing sound financial guidance. His diverse roles have equipped him with a well-rounded perspective on financial management, making him an invaluable asset to the foundation. Beyond his professional achievements, Vince is deeply committed to expanding financial literacy and supporting new ventures. He believes financial education is fundamental for personal and community growth, aligning perfectly with the TekWissen Foundation's mission of empowering individuals, communities, and businesses.

As Treasurer, Vince plays a pivotal role in overseeing the foundation's financial well-being. He ensures resources are used effectively and transparently to maximize the foundation's impact and fulfill its mission. Vince's strategic insights and commitment to sound financial management are instrumental in achieving these goals.

A Respected Leader with a Passion for Life  

Vince is a respected CPA who has earned the admiration of his peers for his professional achievements and unwavering commitment to ethical financial practices. Outside of work, Vince enjoys an active lifestyle, including running, swimming, biking, and yoga.

Board Member – Kristine Yang

Kristine is the co-founder, head of sales, and head of product development at The Only Bean, a CPG food brand committed to delivering healthy and innovative bean-based food products. She has 7+ years of experience in entrepreneurship and growing a business to over 8-figures with limited resources. Kristine moved to the US from China at the age of 11 and her unique cross-cultural experience has enriched her perspective and approach to business. She is passionate about building businesses and supporting others who have similar goals and ambitions. Beyond her professional endeavors, Kristine loves to travel and constantly seeks new adventures and experiences around the globe.  

Advisor – Matt Fringeli 

Matt Fringeli boasts two decades of extensive experience in the realm of recruitment and staffing. His journey in the industry began back in 2003, where he laid the foundation for a thriving career.  

 

In 2020, Matt assumed the role of Managing Director at TekWissen, a position that entrusted him with the vital responsibility of nurturing and overseeing the organization's global strategic partnerships. In this multifaceted role, he guides the global business development and VMS consulting teams in delivering exceptional results for TekWissen's most strategic customer engagements. His leadership extends across diverse and exceptionally talented teams spanning North America, the UK, and India. 

 

Before his tenure at TekWissen, Matt accumulated an impressive 17-year tenure split between Allegis Group and Accenture. Throughout this period, he cultivated expertise in recruitment and staffing operations, professional services, global MSP/VMS project management, and supply chain management. Matt's journey involved various roles in recruitment and operations, ultimately culminating in his involvement with MSP/VMS program implementations in 2009. His reputation as a specialist in deploying Managed Service Provider (MSP) and Vendor Management System (VMS) programs in North America and expanding into new markets across EMEA, APAC, and India preceded his promotion to Implementation Director for AGS in 2014. In 2017, he was once again elevated, this time to lead the Global Supply Chain Management (SCM) function for AGS. In 2019, Matt brought his expertise to Accenture, where he spearheaded global MSP and VMS product deployments before his arrival at TekWissen in 2020. 

 

With a diverse skill set and a wealth of experience in global delivery, Matt consistently delivers top-tier staffing, consulting, and IT solutions to TekWissen's global clientele. He holds a Master of Science degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Maryland University College, earned after completing his Bachelor of Science in Communications at Frostburg State University. He’s also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

Advisor – David Sidlar

David Sidlar currently the Managing Director of DMS Workforce Strategies with over 25 years of experience leading global teams and delivering strategic solutions in talent acquisition, workforce management, and business transformation. With a Six Sigma Black Belt and leadership roles at companies like Fetcher, Allegis Global Solutions, and nextSource, he has a strong track record of improving operational efficiency, driving innovation, and scaling impact. A passionate advocate for equity and empowerment, he joined the TekWissen Foundation to support its mission of unlocking human potential through mentorship, training, and financial support.

Outside of his professional life, Dave is married and enjoys exploring new cultures through travel and finding balance through fitness and personal development. He brings a people-first mindset to everything he does and is driven by a deep commitment to creating meaningful, lasting change in the communities he serves.
